“This is my last year of college I have been looking for any kind of work, but unfortunately being in full time education makes it difficult to fit a Saturday job around piles of course work, so I needed to find some form of work that will give me experience to put on my CV. This is important as a large number employers are looking for past experience and are not willing to take you on without it. So I needed something during an half-term or a holiday where I would get some real hands-on experience. So when I heard about the opportunity to go and work in an I.T. company I took it. The last week has been incredibly interesting and educational; I have seen how staff check in stock, securely destroy data from storage media, repair hardware and provide remote support to maintenance customers. That combined with the friendliness of all the staff has made it an extremely enjoyable experience that I hope to repeat in future.” – Mark O’Dell
